Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join their sales team in London. This role focuses on driving revenue growth by identifying and closing strategic deals with new, high-value clients in the hospitality industry within the U.K. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-oriented, and possess a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a direct sales environment.Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying and qualifying high-potential new clients in the hospitality sector.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to acquire key accounts.
  • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Conducting demonstrations of Lightspeed's platform.
  • Leading complex sales cycles from initial contact to closing.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets for new customer acquisition.
  • Establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients.
  • Understanding client business objectives and aligning solutions to address their needs.
  • Transitioning new customers to implementation and launch teams.
  • Contributing to sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a 360 selling environment.
  • Experience in IT solutions, software sales, e-commerce, cloud applications, SaaS, POS, retail/hospitality, or technology.
  • Experience in an outbound sales environment.
