Job Description
Scale is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team and drive growth in their federal business. The Solutions Engineer will be on the front lines, ensuring that innovative companies and governments become committed Scale partners. This role is based in Washington, DC, but Scale is open to considering candidates in other locales.

The role involves:
  • Being an expert on Scale products and technologies.
  • Creating tailored demonstrations and collateral for federal and select international stakeholders.
  • Partnering with Scale Deployment Strategists to build relationships and advance business opportunities.
  • Interacting with customers to understand their pain points and design solutions.
  • Leveraging creative problem-solving skills to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Working with internal product and engineering teams to turn customer requirements into Scale capabilities.
  • Understanding public sector mission sets and strategic objectives to best showcase Scale’s products.

Requirements:
  • Active US Government Security Clearance.
  • Technical background in computer science, statistics, mathematics, machine learning, or other quantitative fields.
  • Creative bias and strong communication skills.
  • At ease with technology and able to quickly pick up new tech stacks.
  • Previous experience working with Public Sector customers.
  • Proficiency in common scripting languages such as Python, YAML, or other data analysis / application builder programming languages.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
