Job Description
Heartflow, a medical technology company, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in San Francisco. The company is focused on advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease through innovative technology. The Software Engineer will work in cross-functional teams to deliver the next generation of Heartflow's technology, including cloud-based algorithmic pipelines and interactive 3D graphical software.Responsibilities include:
  • Designing, implementing, documenting, and validating algorithmic component software.
  • Improving infrastructure and tooling, such as algorithmic pipelines, test frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Enhancing the modularity and testability of algorithmic components through careful design and specifications.
  • Participating in cross-functional efforts like clinical validations and software releases.
  • Providing production support.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant industry experience in a software company.
  • Experience with Python development.
  • Experience with modern C++ (C++-11 and up).
  • Understanding of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Heartflow offers:
  • A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $130,000 to $200,000(for San Francisco Bay Area), cash bonus, and stock options.
