Job Description

Remote is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the global employment space. The Senior Product Designer will autonomously own design for a dev team or feature area, collaborating with a cross-discipline team of designers, developers, and PMs.

Remote's design team is focused on user-centered design, starting with customer insights and envisioning how people experience Remote’s products. The designer will be responsible for the entire end-to-end design process, from initial research and ideation to execution, testing, and validation.

Role involves:

  • Developing design strategy for a feature area.
  • Conducting research to inform design decisions.
  • Creating mockups and iterations to develop excellent solutions.
  • Bringing high-fidelity designs to life.
  • Building usable flows and prototypes.
  • Contributing to the design system.
  • Expressing complex flows and interactions.
  • Communicating design ideas effectively.
  • Collaborating with team members.
  • Providing peer support and feedback.
  • Leading workshops.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as an IC product designer.
  • Portfolio demonstrating mastery of end-to-end design.
  • Experience designing complex solutions for digital environments.
  • Deep Fintech, HR tech, B2B or SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Ability to autonomously own design for a team or feature area.
  • Experience delivering outstanding results for business and users.
  • Strong skills in simplicity, typography, interaction design, and UI design.
  • Ability to gather insights, define problems, and deliver solutions.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Persuasive communication skills.
  • Clear and fluent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to mentor others and impact the design team.
