Job Description

OKX is seeking an Operational Senior Audit Manager for the US market. This role involves overseeing the execution of the operational audit portfolio within the US, providing guidance on operational risks, and ensuring a sound foundation from a third-line of defense perspective.

The Operational Senior Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing internal audit projects, including risk-based audits, process evaluations, and control assessments. They will also be involved in the audit planning process, execution, reporting, and remediation phase.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Internal Audit leadership and business stakeholders to build risk-based and regulatory-focused audit plans.
  • Manage end-to-end audits, reviews, and consulting projects.
  • Create and maintain documentation including reviewing and/or preparing process flowcharts and testing procedures for key controls.
  • Recommend corrective actions and partner with control owners to ensure timely resolution of control deficiencies.
  • Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to senior leadership and business owners.
  • Apply data-driven techniques to enhance audit effectiveness and identify control improvement opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
  • Assist in responding to both regulatory and external auditor requests and inquiries.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on the professional development of the internal audit team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Internal audit experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in leading audit engagements and managing audit teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of internal audit methodology, IIA internal audit standards, risk assessment and internal control frameworks.
  • Industry experience with best practices within a regulated financial service firm, consumer protection acts, and trading risks preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, risk and control mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in using audit and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work in a global context and coordinate with international teams.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior.
