Outlier is seeking a talented programmer to contribute to training generative AI models. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity based in Mexico, offering flexible hours.
The role involves collaborating with Outlier to train large AI language models, assisting advanced generative models in producing higher-quality code. Projects typically involve specific problems requiring interaction with these models as they learn to program. Previous AI experience is not required for that role.
As a member of the team, specialist will:
- Create and respond to computer science-related questions to aid in training AI models.
- Evaluate and classify code generated by AI models.
The requirements are:
- Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, Swift, Verilog.
- Strong attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
Outlier offers:

- The rates for the main work performed by programming experts currently range from $14 to $29 USD per hour.
