Job Description
StockX is seeking a highly enthusiastic and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join their Growth XT Team in Bangalore. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technology decisions and solutions, playing a pivotal role in establishing a successful engineering culture within a fast-growing company. The engineer will contribute to building fault-tolerant, scalable platforms for traffic generation, customer acquisition, and retention.

What This Role Involves:
  • Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to define requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Architecting and designing solutions, guiding junior team members in detailed component design.
  • Implementing, deploying, and monitoring systems and services.
  • Proposing and adopting best engineering practices and development standards.
  • Contributing to team processes for better sprint outcomes.
  • Ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and performance in proposed solutions.
  • Demonstrating ownership of services and participating in system support.
  • Providing timely communication to stakeholders for issue resolution.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant development experience.
  • Experience with distributed architecture.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages (NodeJS, GoLang) or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL data storage technologies.
  • Experience with event-based architecture and related technologies (Kafka, SNS, SQS).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
