KnowBe4 is seeking a Snr. Software Engineering Manager to lead software development teams in Kochi, India. The ideal candidate will develop new and exciting products for KnowBe4’s customers in a fast-paced, agile environment. Responsibilities: - Leads a software team using the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies.
- Recommends solutions to engineering problems.
- Translates KnowBe4's strategic goals into operational plans.
- Provides coordination across team boundaries.
Requirements: - BS or equivalent plus 8 years technical experience, MS or equivalent plus 3 years technical experience, or Ph.D. or equivalent plus 2 years technical experience.
- 3 years experience managing software development teams.
- Ability to manage a team of highly talented software engineers.
- Extensive experience with building and integrating REST-based APIs.
- Experience with building apps and microservices on the AWS platform using Python.
- Expert knowledge in at least one web framework technology like Python Django/Flask/Rails/Express.
- Understanding and experience in building software systems following software design principles.
- Demonstrable knowledge of fundamental cloud concepts.
- Working experience in writing clean, unit-tested, and secure code.
- Working knowledge in relational databases such as MYSQL/POSTGRES and expertise in SQL.
- Experience with continuous delivery and integration pipelines: Docker/Gitlab/Terraform and other Automated deployment and testing tools.
- Open to learning new technologies & programming languages as needed.
- Experience in working with APIs in the cybersecurity industry is a plus.
- Experience building scalable data processing pipelines is a plus.
