Job Description
Ohana Child Development Center, located at Bandwidth's Raleigh NC Headquarters, is seeking a Lead Toddler Guide (Classroom Manager). Ohana provides Montessori/RIE based programming for children. The Classroom Manager will provide people management for classroom teachers while fostering a supportive and collaborative educational environment.
What this role involves:
- Building a collaborative teaching culture.
- Communicating with school and corporate leadership, parents, and teachers.
- Supporting teachers in maintaining accreditations.
- Evaluating classroom teachers and substitutes.
- Fostering a positive work environment.
- Following and teaching Montessori and/or RIE Pedagogy.
- Mentoring and coaching other teachers.
- Ensuring team members understand and follow policies and procedures.
- Supporting operating as a unified team with the Corporate Bandwidth team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- MACTE accredited Montessori certification required.
- 6+ years working in a Montessori environment.
- Knowledge of Montessori/RIE caregiving techniques.
- Skilled in observation techniques and documentation.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
