Job Description
The Medical Operations Manager role at LA28 is a pivotal supporting position within the Games Logistics and Services (GLS) team. This role involves assisting in the operational planning and coordination required to support the delivery of medical services across all Games venues. The Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including medical advisors, government agencies, and key stakeholders, to help execute critical initiatives in medical logistics, workforce planning, and operational readiness.LA28 is seeking a candidate with strong project coordination, organizational, and communication skills, and a proactive mindset to ensure high-quality support of all medical operations for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of operational plans for medical services across competition and non-competition venues.
- Support execution of medical service delivery, including logistics for supplies, staffing, and infrastructure.
- Help develop and implement the medical workforce plan including documentation, certification, and training logistics for staff and volunteers.
- Act as a liaison between the Medical Operations team and other LA28 departments.
- Assist in tracking medical functional area budgets.
Requirements: - Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in sports operations, event operations, project coordination, or related roles.
- Familiarity with medical delivery in high-performance, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing timelines, documentation, and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Sports Administration, Event-Management, or related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
LA28 Offers: - The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00.
- Expectation to be in LA28 offices in Los Angeles 4x/week (1x/week hybrid)
