Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join their team and serve as a strategic talent advisor to the R&D organization. This role is crucial for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for technical positions, contributing to Axon's mission of protecting life. The Senior Recruiter will develop and execute proactive recruiting strategies, utilize data to inform decisions, and ensure an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring leaders.
What This Role Involves:
- Serving as a strategic recruiting partner to senior R&D leaders across North America.
- Owning and driving full-cycle recruitment for high-priority roles in software, hardware, AI/ML, and other technical domains.
- Analyzing and reporting on hiring metrics to influence hiring strategy and process improvements.
- Developing data-driven sourcing and recruitment strategies to deliver top talent.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable and inclusive hiring processes.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on market trends and talent availability.
- Championing the candidate experience through high-touch engagement and transparent communication.
- Mentoring and supporting other recruiters by sharing best practices and resources.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with 2+ years focused on technical or R&D roles.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing at multiple levels.
- Experience developing and reporting on hiring KPIs and metrics.
- Strong sourcing expertise with platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse.
- Proven ability to prioritize and execute on multiple requisitions in a high-growth environment.
- Decisive, results-oriented, and able to manage ambiguity.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
