Financial Systems Administrator

Job Description

Appspace is seeking a Financial Systems Administrator to manage and maintain Finance-centric solutions. The Financial Systems Administrator will handle user management, system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. The role involves optimizing processes, providing user support, and implementing data management and security practices. The administrator will work closely with the broader Business Systems team to ensure seamless processes & change management across the Systems ecosystem.

Responsibilities include:

• Investigating and resolving user-reported issues and system errors
• Adding, removing, and updating user accounts, permissions, and roles
• Providing initial support & guidance around reports & dashboards in supported systems
• Providing assistance and guidance to users, answering questions, and providing direction in day-to-day use of the solutions
• Contributing to all parts of a project lifecycle; including input during requirements gathering, execution of assigned actions, as well as supporting testing & documentation
• Implementing and maintaining customizations, workflows, and scripts to meet business requirements
• Monitoring and maintaining integrations with other systems to ensure data flows smoothly. Identifying and raising potential issues to colleagues or vendors if not able to resolve directly
• Regression testing for scheduled system releases

Requirements:

• 4+ Years of advanced knowledge and experience with one or more ERP solutions
• Strong foundational knowledge of technical impact, customizations, and change management processes
• Experience with GAAP Accounting, with significant experience in Intercompany Eliminations and Foreign Currency Transactions & Calculations
• Able to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot system errors, and implement or suggest effective solutions
• Outputs through own or guided tasks are accurate and consistent with a mind to system configuration and data management
• Clear and effective communication with users, stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements, provide support, and facilitate collaboration
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs, learn new features or technologies, and implement best practices to optimize system usage within the organization
