Job Description

LetsGetChecked is seeking a Finance & Strategy Analyst to join their finance team in Dublin. The analyst will report to the Finance & Strategy Senior Manager and will be responsible for driving financial planning, business forecasting, and in-depth data analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong data modelling capabilities and a willingness to contribute to a range of finance generalist duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation, review, and presentation of group forecasts.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and analytical tools.
  • Perform data modelling and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in driving cost efficiency projects and initiatives.
  • Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider finance team on reporting requirements.
  • Engage in finance generalist duties.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent modelling skills with experience in building and maintaining consolidated integrated models from scratch in Excel.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work on own initiative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Good business acumen and an understanding of key financial principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience with Power Query, SQL and data visualisation tools a plus (Looker)
