Job Description
Yousician is seeking a Tech Lead to play a key role in launching their Berlin office and building a high-impact growth team. The Tech Lead will shape the technical direction, hire and mentor engineers, and work on Yousician’s core product used by millions worldwide. This role offers a blend of technical challenge, ownership, and purpose, ideal for a hands-on coding leader thriving in growth environments.
Role Involves:
- Owning and driving technical direction for growth features and experiments across mobile and web.
- Leading an empowered team with autonomy to ideate, test, and launch.
- Building and iterating quickly on onboarding flows, pricing experiments, paywall A/B tests, referral features, notifications, and personalized content.
- Working hands-on in Unity (C#), web (TypeScript/React/Node), and/or Python (Flask).
- Collaborating with product, data, and marketing to find leverage points in the user journey.
- Balancing speed with engineering quality.
- Scaling up a world-class growth engineering practice inside Yousician.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with 1–2 years in a tech lead role.
- A full-stack builder mindset with proficiency in front-end, back-end, and Unity.
- Strong skills in at least one of the main technologies.
- Track record of launching A/B tests and growth features in consumer apps or platforms.
- Comfort working autonomously in fast-moving environments with lots of ownership.
