Job Description

The company is looking for a Technical Product Owner for the Finance team. The Technical Product Owner will architect, develop, and oversee a mission-critical financial data processing system. This role ensures the seamless integration, processing, and delivery of diverse transactional data essential for financial reporting, critical reconciliation processes, and strategic decision-making.Role involves:

• Architecting a scalable and secure financial data processing system.
• Developing advanced automation solutions for data integration.
• Overseeing the standardization and normalization of transactional data.
• Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Monitoring system performance and implementing proactive measures.
• Establishing and maintaining disaster recovery protocols.
• Leading initiatives for system optimization and scaling.
• Designing and implementing system features for financial reporting and audit.
• Working closely with the financial department to understand their needs.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of system architectures and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data engineering, system architecture, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining large-scale, mission-critical data systems.
• Experience in developing systems that support financial data reconciliation processes.
• Expertise in Python.
• Deep understanding of SQL.
• Experience with AWS.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
