Job Description
Zenni Optical is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair optical manufacturing equipment in Obetz, Ohio. The technician will minimize downtime and support production goals through preventative and reactive maintenance. This role requires a problem-solver who thrives on teamwork and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair optical manufacturing equipment.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot in-line manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs.
- Inspect, service, and repair production and support equipment.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of ladder logic used in PLC systems.
- Familiarity with robotic equipment controlled by PLCs and legacy relay logic systems.
- Experience operating or working around equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts.
- Ability to use a multimeter to measure voltage, resistance, and capacity.
- Proficiency with basic computer software for maintenance tracking and communication.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
