Renewables Lawyer - Philipines (Mid-Level)

Job Description

Peak Energy is seeking a Mid-Level Renewables Lawyer to join their team in the Philippines. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in the renewable energy sector across the APAC region. The lawyer will work primarily for the Philippines team, with opportunities to assist on regional matters, reporting to the Regional Senior Lawyer in the Philippines, the Philippine business team, and General Counsel based out of Singapore.Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with transaction structuring and contract negotiation.
• Conducting due diligence for renewable power projects.
• Providing legal support on M&A and project development matters.
• Advising on general corporate matters.
• Conducting legal research.
• Assisting in compliance matters.

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of experience in an in-house legal team or law firm.
• Ability to work in a small, dynamic team.
• Robust work ethic.
