Job Description

Alamar Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to contribute to the development of their innovative proteomics platform. This role is crucial for advancing biomarker discovery and early disease diagnosis. The Scientist will be involved in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects and significantly impacting life science research.

Role involves:
• Leading the design, development, and optimization of high-plex proteomic panels.
• Developing and optimizing high-plex panels for specificity, sensitivity, and reproducibility.
• Performing multivariate analysis to optimize assay performance.
• Driving continuous improvement in product reliability and process efficiency.
• Troubleshooting technical challenges and implementing corrective strategies.
• Developing and maintaining critical documentation.
• Serving as a subject matter expert and providing mentorship.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to advance projects.

Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
• 1+ years of industry experience in high-plex assay development.
• Deep expertise in multiplex immunoassay platforms.
• Experience with molecular technology such qPCR/ddPCR and NGS is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of biomarker validation, statistical process controls, or clinical sample testing are preferred.
