Field Service Maintenance Technician Senior (Charlotte Region)

Job Description

ATS is seeking a skilled Senior Field Service Maintenance Technician for its Charlotte region. This role involves performing expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. The technician will work with customer counterparts to optimize maintenance procedures and may be required to set up and operate machining equipment. They will also document work performed and provide assistance to lower-level technicians.Responsibilities:

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Works with customer counterparts to optimize maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Documents work performed in service reports.
• Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems.
• Utilizes advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 12 years of experience in specific industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Extensive travel required.
