Job Description
Solaris is seeking a Team Lead for AFC Investigations & SARs to join their Anti-Financial Crime team in Berlin. This role involves leading and developing a team of investigators and SARs analysts, ensuring quality, compliance, and operational excellence. The Team Lead will report to the Head of AFC Investigations and will oversee two sub-teams: Investigations and SARs (Suspicious Activity Reports).
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of skilled investigators and SARs analysts.
- Reviewing the quality work of the Functional Leads and ensuring SLAs are met.
- Identifying gaps and creating aligning procedures.
- Acting as the escalation point for analysts, addressing complex cases and challenges.
- Preparing internal and external reports for regulators.
- Designing and delivering training programs.
- Providing support during incidents and escalations.
- Cooperating with 1st and 3rd lines of defense teams.
- Developing technical specifications for new functionalities.
- Managing internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in Financial Crime Investigations or Anti Money Laundering.
- In-depth understanding of Anti-Financial Crime regulations and compliance practices.
- Educational degree in banking, law, business administration, or a related field.
- Good understanding of software for risk management.
- Sound people management skills with experience in leading a team.
- Very good knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Good understanding of quality assurance processes.
