Follett Software is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow its market presence in the Northeast United States. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in school districts, including superintendents and technology officers.
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire district-level customers.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas by securing new customers and upselling to existing ones.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Establish and maintain relationships with district administrators and key stakeholders.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Follett’s products and services to effectively communicate their value.
- Collaborate with clients to provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients.
- Stay up-to-date with K-12 market trends and competitors.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Success, and Sales Development teams.
Requirements: - Significant direct sales experience with EdTech SaaS solutions.
- Experience calling on IT buyer personas.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas (>$1M annually).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of integrity.
