Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Measurement

Reddit is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join its Ads Measurement team. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and intelligence of Reddit’s advertising platform through privacy-enhancing technologies and probabilistic user matching. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end Ads initiatives, drive architectural decisions, and mentor peers.Reddit's new team member will be responsible for:

• Leading the technical strategy and architecture for the company’s identity resolution system.
• Developing and refining ML models for probabilistic user matching.
• Overseeing end-to-end ML workflows, optimizing for performance and cost.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to define the roadmap and set long-term goals.
• Establishing engineering best practices and data governance guidelines.
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers.

Requirements for the role include:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years in ML-driven systems.
• Experience architecting identity resolution or identity matching solutions.
• Strong knowledge of identifiers and their use in identity resolution.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Understanding of large-scale data processing and distributed computing.
• Technical leadership in cross-functional settings.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
