Outlier is seeking a skilled Software Engineering Consultant to contribute to the training of AI models, specifically large language models, in Norway. The role involves collaborating with these models to solve real-world engineering challenges, requiring expertise in coding and problem-solving. Previous AI experience is not required.Consultants will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge GenAI models, pushing the boundaries of current LLM capabilities. This is a freelance position, offering remote work and flexible hours, with a commitment of 40 hours per week.Responsibilities:
- Crafting and answering computer science & software engineering questions to train AI models.
- Evaluating and ranking code generated by AI models.
- Co-piloting with an AI model to create, debug, and improve production-level code.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in Norwegian.
- Proficiency in two or more of the following languages: Java, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, C++, Swift, or Verilog.
- 3+ years of experience in software development / engineering, ideally in a fast-paced tech company.
