Job Description
GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join their team. This role focuses on the mid-market segment in the Nordics, working with companies that employ up to 4000 employees. The Account Executive will be the primary point of contact between GitLab and its customers, managing projects from small, fast-growing teams to complex enterprise projects.Responsibilities:
  • Support GitLab for Mid Market prospects.
  • Contribute to root cause analyses on wins/losses.
  • Communicate lessons learned to the team.
  • Take ownership of your book of business.
  • Document the buying criteria and process.
  • Ensure pipeline accuracy.
  • Contribute to improving the sales handbook.
  • Provide account leadership in the pre- and post-sales process.
  • Contribute product ideas to the public issue tracker.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated progressive experience with Software sales.
  • Interest in GitLab and open source software.
  • Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivation, drive, and results orientation.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Preferred experience with Git, Software Development Tools, Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Alignment with GitLab's values.
  • Ability to travel if needed.
