Speech-Language Pathologist - North Carolina (25-26 School Year)

Job Description

Parallel is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support school partnerships in Alabama for the 2025-2026 school year. The Speech-Language Pathologist will empower students with learning differences by providing exceptional care and equipping them with the tools needed for success. This role involves conducting evaluations, delivering direct services, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and IEPs.

• Conduct SLP evaluations and deliver direct services to children
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Continuously monitor each child's progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Effectively communicate with parents, staff, and students regarding progress
• Complete essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations
• Meet with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss student needs, adaptations, and interventions
• Actively participate in team meetings and work collaboratively to ensure every student's success

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• At least 1 year of experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting (CFY not included)
• Experience in IEP meetings, case management, and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage children from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms
• Availability during school hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday)
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus!
