Endpoint Engineer

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Braine l'Alleud, Belgium. The NCIA is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The Endpoint Engineer will provide engineering and operations support to End User Management in the area of Managed Devices service throughout the service lifecycle. He will conduct co-ordination and communication between support and service provider.Role involves:

• Providing engineering and operations support to End User Management.
• Serving as the highest level of technical escalation for complex issues.
• Administering and Supporting the Agency Patching, Orchestration and Reporting Services.
• Packaging and deploying software updates.
• Developing hardware and software inventory reports.
• Performing implementation and maintenance of authorized software changes.
• Investigating and troubleshooting advanced network connectivity, performance, and security-related issues.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Conducting in-depth root cause analysis.
• Supporting the Section head in team and technical lead duties.
• Proactively implement monitoring policies and solutions.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years' experience implementing, managing, and optimizing collaboration tools and platforms.
• Proven experience in implementing, maintaining and validating Skype for Business and/or Exchange infrastructure solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills of the server (MS Exchange/Skype) and client side (MS Outlook/Skype desktop client).
• Demonstrable knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems.
• Practical experience of Windows Operating System, Active Directory, DNS, PowerShell scripting and the Exchange Management Shell.
• Very good experience deploying communication and collaboration software.
• Proven experience in handing and prioritizing multiple assignments.
• Proven experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Very good experience with troubleshooting and providing end users' support.
• Very good problem solving and communication skills.
• Valid National or NATO Cosmic Top Secret personal security clearance
