AI and Automation Engineer (AU)

Job Description

Eucalyptus is seeking an AI and Automation Engineer to join their technology team. This role focuses on the adoption of emerging technologies, especially automation and generative AI, driving innovation across the organization. The engineer will work at the intersection of technology and healthcare, contributing to a company that has already assisted over 500,000 patients globally.

Role Involves:

• Championing the adoption of AI and emerging technologies.
• Fostering a culture of innovation and bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Upskilling the workforce in emerging technologies and ways of working.
• Building solutions using SaaS, AI, and automation tooling.
• Partnering with teams to prototype and develop technology solutions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in system engineering, software engineering, or technical support.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies like generative AI, machine learning, and automation.
• Experience automating business processes using tools like Zapier, n8n, or Make.com.
• Experience rapidly prototyping solutions using low-code, no-code, and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Experience with website development and scripting using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
• Strong communication, business analysis, and partnering skills.
• A passion for teaching technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
