Job Description
Apiiro is seeking a Software Engineer to join its AI Innovation Team in Tel Aviv. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining code for AI-based services and data pipelines. The engineer will collaborate with ML-ops engineers, security researchers, and full-stack data scientists to deliver cutting-edge, AI-powered automated application security features. Apiiro is a fast-growing startup at the forefront of the application security field. What this role involves:
- Taking ownership of the engineering aspects within a multidisciplinary data science innovation team.
- Designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining code for AI-based services and data pipelines in both Python and C#.
- Designing, deploying, and supporting AI-driven services in modern Kubernetes/cloud environments.
- Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing existing production AI/ML models.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency with production code, micro-services, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), monitoring, and working with databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience with agent-based architectures, or advanced AI/ML/data science frameworks (preferred).
- Experience in application security environments (preferred).
- Familiarity and curiosity around AI technologies – LLMs, prompting, MCP, agent etc.
- Independent, proactive, and agile.
- Skilled at problem-solving and creative solution-finding.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Innovative and committed to continuous learning.
