Outlier is seeking an AI English Writing Evaluator based in South Africa. The role involves providing human feedback to improve AI models for innovative companies. The evaluator will use their expertise in English writing and understanding of South African English to train generative artificial intelligence models.
Responsibilities:
- Reading English text to rank AI-generated responses.
- Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
- Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced text.
Requirements:
- Experience as a professional writer or editor.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline (or currently enrolled).
- Strong writing style, exceptional English grammar, and logic/reasoning skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain the strengths and weaknesses of text.
