Technical Lead - Data Management

Job Description

MiQ is seeking a Technical Lead - Data Management to join their Technology department in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-driven innovation within the department. By leading the development and evolution of robust, scalable, and secure data platforms, the role will directly empower analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives across the organisation.This role involves:

• Building and managing data platforms.
• Data modelling and pipeline orchestration.
• Designing and integrating microservices for data platform interoperability.
• Implementing and managing scalable and reliable ML/data pipelines.
• Leading cross-functional data initiatives.

Requirements include:

• Strong experience in Big Data technologies.
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture.
• Proficiency in infrastructure management on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong background in Python, PySpark, and at least one JVM-based language (Java/Scala/Kotlin).
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks.
