Job Description
Goodnotes is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Insights team, focusing on the B2B sector. This role involves working alongside Data Scientists and Data Engineers to lead analytics and insights for Goodnotes professional users. The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for experimentation efforts, deep dives, user behavior modeling, use case clustering, KPI forecasting, impact attribution, and customer acquisition optimization. The role is within a distributed team across Europe and Asia, offering remote work options with overlap hours or the option to work from the Hong Kong or London office.

Role involves:
  • Analyzing user behavior to identify drivers of key outcomes.
  • Driving proactive analysis into high-potential green fields.
  • Ensuring teams have data insights and self-service capabilities.
  • Developing data literacy programs and easy-to-use tools.
  • Attributing impact to product features and marketing campaigns.
  • Performing basic ETL tasks to model new dimensions in the data lakehouse.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in data science and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience in defining and analyzing large datasets.
  • Proven stakeholder management expertise.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (dbt, modern BI tools) and languages (SQL, Python or R).
  • Deep expertise in designing and analyzing experiments.
  • Strong business acumen with statistical expertise.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
