Freelance Video Maker and Content Creator

Job Description

Avea, a dietary supplement company focused on longevity and wellbeing, is seeking a Freelance Video Maker and Content Creator. The role involves creating high-performing video content, primarily by repurposing and editing existing assets. The freelancer will collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and Creative Director to develop engaging, social-first content that brings the Avea brand to life.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and transform existing footage into compelling social media and ad content.
• Develop video concepts, storylines, and storyboards aligned with Avea’s brand.
• Support in organizing or participating in shoots (interviews, educational formats).
• Create visually engaging content tailored for performance marketing (Meta/Google ads).
• Collaborate with the CMO, Head of Content, and marketing team to execute Avea’s creative strategy.

Requirements:

• Native German speaker with excellent writing skills and fluency in English.
• Availability to join shootings in Germany, Italy, or Portugal.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with video making, content creation, and ad creation.
• Deep passion for social media and understanding of what works on Instagram.
• Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, positive attitude.
• Creative thinker, able to improvise and spot opportunities.
• Quick to learn and adapt to changing environments.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and make accurate decisions with a sense of urgency.
• Interest in the longevity industry.
