Job Description
Appian is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Chennai. This role involves ensuring the Appian platform remains fast, scalable, and adaptable to customer needs. The Software Engineer will require mental agility to navigate between code-level, designer, and end-user perspectives, mastering advanced technologies and enhancing the declarative programming language. Appian emphasizes in-person collaboration and expects employees to be in the office five days a week.
Role Involves:
- Designing new features and implementing improvements.
- Responding to and resolving emergent problems.
- Engineering reliability into software and systems.
- Managing availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous industry software development experience and/or internships.
- Fluency in Java, and familiarity with Git and Shell Command.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- 10th, 12th, and UG Degree with 70% and above.
- Good communication skills and ideal to have previous internship experience.
- Participation in extracurricular activities.
- No backlogs.
