Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join their team in London. This role involves partnering with engineering and product management teams to drive projects from inception through design, development, and deployment. The Technical Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate proposals into executable plans, manage scope and risks, and ensure timely completion of initiatives.Responsibilities include:
- Leading execution across product management, engineering, and design teams.
- Driving process improvements to enhance team effectiveness and velocity.
- Owning dependencies and simplifying challenges to achieve the right outcomes.
- Tracking risks, issues, and roadmaps, and ensuring clear communication.
- Building trust with senior leaders through alignment, timely updates, and support.
- Working with technical staff across software and hardware engineering.
- Improving detailed process and software architectural documentation.
- Communicating effectively with teams in Seattle, Atlanta, Vietnam, and London.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in leading and managing system/software delivery, with 5+ years in a technical program management role.
- Proven success with project management methodologies, including Agile.
- Experience owning and driving large, ambiguous technical software programs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
