Job Description
Veeam, the market leader in data resilience, is seeking a Veeam Backup for Databases Engineer to join their Technical Customer Support team in Bangalore, India. This on-site role involves providing support to customers, diagnosing problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The engineer will document customer interactions, perform troubleshooting, and analyze log files.
Responsibilities: - Handling new cases according to the Veeam Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Providing initial support and diagnosing problems
- Documenting all customer interactions accurately
- Ensuring proper communication of issue status to customers
- Performing troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigation
Requirements: - Fluent English (reading/writing/speaking)
- Linux administration skills
- Familiarity with Oracle database concepts (11g, 12c and 18c, Windows and Linux implementations)
- Familiarity with Oracle RMAN tool
- Familiarity with Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster) concepts
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn technical information
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
