Job Description
Ada is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their AI Products team. This role is remote-based in Canada. Ada is an AI customer service company focused on making customer service extraordinary through its AI transformation platform. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to building scalable systems and working with LLMs, partnering with product managers, designers, and machine learning scientists.
Role involves:
- Designing solutions and running experiments on the AI product roadmap.
- Implementing code abstractions and evaluation tooling for rapid iteration.
- Improving development practices for AI development and experimentation.
- Reviewing code and providing feedback.
- Staying close to customer feedback and collaborating with product and design partners.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
- Experience working on AI projects with 3rd party LLM providers.
- Deep familiarity with prompt engineering techniques.
- Experience building internal experimentation and evaluation tooling.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch and in-memory stores such as Redis.
- Ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.
- Experience mentoring engineers.
