Remote is seeking a Senior Specialist, International Operations - US and PEO Compliance to support the setup and launch of their expanded US services, while also overseeing local operations, compliance, and entity management. This role involves working closely with an International Operations Manager to build a new service line from the ground up, shaping the future of Remote's US offerings. Responsibilities: - Oversee regulatory and compliance operations across U.S. states.
- Ensure alignment with state-specific labor and employment regulations.
- Manage the lifecycle of legal entities.
- Work closely with Legal, Tax, Payroll, Benefits, and Ops teams.
- Maintain centralized records of compliance activities.
- Optimize workflows for compliance tracking.
- Lead projects related to regulatory setup and operational expansion.
Requirements: - Experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within a Payroll or PEO company.
- Strong understanding of U.S. state regulations.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in collaboration tools like Notion and Slack.
- Comfortable in async, remote-first environments.
