Job Description
Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support operational project teams financially throughout the project lifecycle. This role is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
The role involves:
- Supporting project teams in financial areas related to clinical trials.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly invoicing worksheets.
- Performing variance analysis comparing forecasted revenue to actual revenue.
- Supporting the review of work orders and change order budgets.
- Supporting monthly project review meetings.
- Assisting in the preparation of contract documents.
- Working with the Company Accountant to support financial reporting and general ledger functions.
- Ensuring timely reporting of monthly financial information.
- Collaborating with others in Finance to support department goals.
- Responding to inquiries regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (Europe) or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related business discipline (North America).
- 5+ years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
- Working knowledge of the accounting cycle, project budgets, financial project management support, Earned Value Analysis (“EVA”) analysis, and contract review.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong Excel/PC skills.
- Strong accounting skills.
- Good oral and written communication & interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently and in a team.
