Job Description
Lush North America is seeking a Temporary Manager in Training to join their team in Toronto. This role is designed to support the Store Manager in various business areas, ensuring a strong customer experience, staff satisfaction, and operational excellence. The Manager in Training will embody Lush’s Leadership Practices, including being real, curious, leading fearlessly, adapting and evolving, growing talent, and living with purpose.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with the team to exceed daily sales goals and provide an inclusive customer experience.
  • Educating customers and staff on brand values and ethical initiatives.
  • Increasing product knowledge and providing informed recommendations.
  • Demonstrating business acumen and understanding of metrics and budgets.
  • Supporting the team on the sales floor, answering questions, and problem-solving.
  • Contributing to staff development through coaching and leading by example.
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Managing stock and inventory to meet fresh standards and budget requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean and visually appealing work environment.
  • Ensuring proper scheduling and timekeeping practices.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of managing or supervising experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
