Injection Moulding Machine Operator

Job Description

Pela is seeking an Injection Moulding Machine Operator in Kelowna, BC. The Injection Machine Operator works under the guidance of the Injection Machine Technician to operate machines, perform mold changes, inspect product quality, and assist in troubleshooting basic issues. The operator ensures the efficient production of high-quality parts and supports the injection team in achieving production goals. Teamwork and adaptability are critical to success in this role.

Role Involves:

• Setting up and operating injection molding machines.
• Monitoring machine operations to ensure quality.
• Assisting with mold installation and material handling.
• Performing quality control and basic machine maintenance.
• Ensuring safety compliance and supporting production goals.

Requirements:

• Ability to learn procedures and follow instructions.
• Injection moulding experience and mechanical aptitude are desirable.
• Basic math skills and experience in a production environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
