Senior Security Engineer, Identity, Security and Technology Foundations

Tide is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Identity team in Bulgaria. Tide is a business management platform for small businesses, offering business accounts and related services. The company has over 1 million users worldwide and offices in multiple countries.

As a Senior Security Engineer, the candidate will champion Identity across Tide, collaborate with business and technology teams, and ensure the Identity estate adheres to best practices. The role involves automating manual processes and streamlining identity management workflows.

Responsibilities include:

• Championing Identity across Tide
• Collaborating with business and technology teams
• Ensuring our Identity estate adheres to best practices
• Automating manual processes

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong expertise with modern Identity Providers such as Okta
• Deep understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML and OIDC
• Strong hands-on experience writing Terraform
• Experience in scripting and automation
• A passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
