Job Description
Behavox is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the availability, latency, performance, and efficiency of its production systems. This role involves working with DevOps, Product, and Engineering teams to implement SRE practices and build foundational infrastructure to support the company's growing client base. The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in Behavox's mission and technologies, with a focus on high-load data processing and distributed Big Data systems.

What this role involves:
  • Performing deployment and maintenance of high-load and large-scale distributed storage and data processing systems in Public clouds
  • Monitoring, developing, and troubleshooting applications to resolve issues, lead incident support, be part of the on-call team
  • Automating routine operations using Python / Golang
  • Maintaining cloud based services in the public cloud providers (GCP/AWS)
  • Administering and troubleshooting Linux operating systems and networks

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps engineer responsible for deployment and maintenance of production systems
  • Experience with Public Clouds (GCP/AWS). Knowledge of Google cloud Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub or similar AWS technologies would be a plus
  • Automation skills - SaltStack or equivalent tools (Ansible), knowledge of programming languages (Python, Golang, Java)
  • Experience with CI/CD and orchestration tools Terraform, Nomad/Kubernetes, Consul, Jenkins, Gitlab
