Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor (SOX) for a maternity replacement position in Prague, Czech Republic. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and motivated professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for internal audit. This role involves partnering with various functions to design and execute process assessments and audits, providing risk and controls guidance as the company scales.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the execution of Pure’s Internal Audit charter.
  • Assisting in planning, testing, and reporting of the SOX program.
  • Collaborating with the SOX PMO and business partners to update process narratives and flowcharts.
  • Influencing and promoting new ideas for assessments and audits through technology and data analytics.
  • Developing and maintaining business relationships with management.
  • Executing operational audits and assessing internal audit findings.
  • Providing advisory to management as the company scales.
  • Supporting special projects and investigations as needed.

Requirements:
  • Experience in leading and executing US SOX compliance programs.
  • 5+ years of related assurance experience with 2+ years public accounting and/or risk assurance experience.
  • Experience in evaluating processes, technology, and controls associated with complex business applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting.
  • CIA, ACCA, or related certifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and subscriptions; SAP and Salesforce a plus.
