Job Description
AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Helsinki. The company empowers professionals to make smarter decisions through AI-driven market intelligence. The team is focused on transforming Investment Banking workflows through AI-powered, user-centric solutions. This role will be pivotal in executing and enhancing the technical aspects of the Engagement Mission, with a primary focus on application development using React and Node.js.

Role involves:
  • Designing and developing scalable, high-performance features using React and Node.js.
  • Taking ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with product goals and technical excellence.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement user-centric solutions and optimize user experiences.
  • Balancing rapid feature delivery with maintaining code quality and system performance.
  • Contributing to architecture decisions and drive continuous improvement in development processes.

Requirements:
  • Fluent with React, TypeScript and its ecosystem
  • Experienced in working with NodeJS backends (ideally GraphQL)
  • A genuine interest to work with various stakeholders to build the best product for the customer
  • Fluent communicator in English with a team-first mentality
