VP Engineering

Job Description

Bringg, a delivery management leader, is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead their R&D department. The VP of Engineering will drive the development and execution of Bringg's technical vision, ensuring the platform scales and innovates. This role involves leading a team of over 45 engineers and reporting to the CPTO. The ideal candidate will be a technologist at heart, excited by complex systems, and passionate about building great development processes.What this role involves:

• Driving the development and execution of the technical vision.
• Leading and scaling the engineering team.
• Building and improving development processes.
• Solving complex technical problems and business use cases.

Requirements:

• 5+ years leading engineering teams of 30+ developers and team leads.
• Proven experience in SaaS companies utilizing public cloud environments (B2B preferred).
• Demonstrated ability in developing and managing intricate business logic systems.
• Experience with complex, high-scale production environments featuring continuous deployment.
• Familiarity with Node.js, OOP/OOD, design patterns, SQL & NoSQL databases, Ruby, RabbitMQ, GRPC, Kafka, Docker, WebSockets, and related technologies.
• Prior front-end development experience is a plus.
