Razorpay is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. The ideal candidate will be a well-grounded, quality-focused, product-thinking, and business-conscious engineer with deep technical context and experience in building quality software.Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive technology and engineering best practices.
• Design, architecture, and delivery of features/products.
• Drive technology innovations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities.
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules.
• Provide functional, design, and code reviews.
• Mentor/coach engineers.
• Implement a long-term technology vision.
• Contribute to hiring high-quality engineers.
• Represent the organization in external & internal forums.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of strong design/development experience.
• Deep expertise in more than one programming language and tech stack.
• Experience leading & mentoring project teams.
• Strong Object-oriented skills and knowledge of design patterns.
• Deep understanding of data-driven web application design and development.
• Superior organization, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proven performer and team player.
• Self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance.
• Excited by challenges surrounding the development of massively scalable & distributed systems.
• Agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• The experience of having been a software engineer for at least 10 years.
• Have a few weekend side projects up on GitHub
• Have contributed to an open-source project
• Have worked at a product company
• Have a working knowledge of a backend programming language
