Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a bilingual (English & French) Support Specialist II to provide technical assistance for their Point-of-Sale products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong background in customer service within a technical support role. This role is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.Lightspeed was founded in Montreal, Canada in 2005.What this role involves:
  • Demonstrates high customer service standards across all support channels.
  • Utilizes troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve customer issues.
  • Stays up-to-date with product integration and process knowledge.
  • Handles inquiries from Support Specialists.
  • Identifies incorrect workflows and provides feedback.
  • Provides workflow improvements and tracks Jira tickets.
  • Assists, shadows, and trains team members.
  • Takes on the Communication Manager role during outages.
  • Communicates with staff regarding customer and product issues.
  • Handles miscellaneous duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional English and French communication skills.
  • Customer service experience in a technical support role (minimum one year).
  • Experience answering escalated queries in a technical support environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
