Job Description

Sterlington, an international law firm, seeks an Internal Communications Manager to develop the firm's communications infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the firm's culture reflects its identity and that remote, international teams feel connected. The Manager will also liaise with the external PR agency to drive cohesive messaging and enhance brand presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a communications strategy for business change and people strategy initiatives.
  • Manage all internal comms channels and platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on firm or global team-wide comms.
  • Work closely with external PR agencies to manage and execute external communications.
  • Support key internal events, including comms & planning.
  • Design and roll out a ‘town-hall’ programme for senior leadership updates.
  • Proactively seek to improve ways of working and suggest process improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external communications.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years’ experience in a communications role, with some at Manager level.
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment.
  • Vendor analysis, selection, and implementation experience around internal communications / intranet platforms.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentational skills in English.
  • Working knowledge of professional services environment advantageous.
  • Adept at prioritizing a busy workload with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a diverse, fast-paced, international business.
  • Experience of leading strategic communications projects – desirable if these projects were run multi-jurisdictional.
