Network Programmer

Job Description

PlayStation, a global leader in entertainment, is seeking a highly collaborative and skilled Network Programmer to join Nixxes Software, part of PlayStation Studios, located in Utrecht, Netherlands. The Network Programmer will support teams and implement online features on various projects, ranging from online awareness features to full cross-platform multiplayer support. This role offers the opportunity to work on AAA titles in collaboration with other renowned PlayStation Studios around the world.

Role Involves:

• Supporting teams in implementing online features.
• Working on projects ranging from online awareness to cross-platform multiplayer.
• Collaborating with other PlayStation Studios.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a programmer in the games industry or a related industry.
• Up-to-date knowledge of online gaming technologies.
• Pragmatic, hands-on problem-solving mentality.
• Proficiency in C++ and other applicable programming languages.
• Ability to design and write well-structured, readable, and maintainable code.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and on a large code base.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work well in an environment with deadlines and milestones.
