Job Description

Educate! is seeking a Learning Experience Design Specialist to join their Out-of-School Youth (OoSY) product team in Kenya. The role focuses on creating transformative learning experiences for out-of-school youth, particularly young women in rural areas, empowering them with skills for self-employment.

The Learning Experience Design Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the learning experience offered in OoSY Skill Up product is truly transformative and can effectively scale to impact thousands of youth each year.

Role Involves:

• Identifying and researching problems affecting the learning experience of OoSY.
• Ideating and testing learning experience solutions to improve OoSY product.
• Developing curricula, training, and assessment materials.
• Preparing training materials for trainers to ensure effective program implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Social Science, Adult Education, or a related field.
• Five years of professional experience in learning experience design, instructional design, human-centered design, or training design.
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research within human-centered design processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of computer literacy in tools like Google Docs and spreadsheets.
